Dr Shiraze Bulsara M.Psych (Clin); PhD
Clinical Psychologist | Director
I am a Clinical Psychologist with 20 years’ experience, mostly in public health, supporting clients with the psychological impacts of chronic health conditions, pain, trauma, quality of life concerns, depression and anxiety.
I work with adults and older adolescents (16+) experiencing psychological, health-related and life concerns. My recent clinical and research focus is women’s health, including pelvic and reproductive pain, pregnancy and fertility-related concerns. I also work with complex presentations, including complex PTSD, substance use and comorbid concerns, and provide affirming care for people of diverse genders, sexualities and cultural backgrounds.
My practice is collaborative, strengths-based and grounded in evidence. I consider the interplay of psychological, emotional, physical and social factors, and support clients to develop values-aligned goals and sustainable skills beyond therapy.
I have experience teaching and supervising provisionally registered psychologists who will form the future clinical psychology workforce, as well as providing supervision for counsellors, social workers and organisations, and I supervise clinically based research projects at a Masters and PhD level. Some of my research contributions can be found here Dr Shiraze Bulsara.
